Goodfellas’ and ‘Hannibal’ Actor Ray Liotta Has Passed Away at 67
We’ve learned the sad news via Deadline this afternoon that Emmy winning actor
has passed away at the age of 67, passing in his sleep in the Dominican Republic.
According to Deadline, Ray Liotta was there filming the movie
, one of a handful of upcoming projects the prolific actor had been working on this year.
Another one of those upcoming projects is
director Coralie Fargeat’s body horror movie
, which we learned Liotta would be starring in this past Feb
starring role in Martin Scorsese’s
back in 1990, a breakout role that helped make the actor a household name one year after appearing in
Field of Dreams
From there, Liotta’s star continued to rise with films including
Unlawful Entry, No Escape, Cop Land, Blow, Narc, Smokin’ Aces, Wild Hogs, Killing Them Softly, The Iceman, The Place Beyond the Pines

The Many Saints of Newark
. On the small screen, Liotta won a Primetime Emmy in 2005 for a guest appearance on the series “ER.”
More recently, Ray Liotta appeared in Netflix’s comedy
